Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect as little data as possible. For products like Prifasi, we collect none at all. For account-based products, we store only what is technically required. We never sell your data. We never read your data — the architecture makes it impossible.

1. Who we are

Selteer is a privacy-focused software company. We operate the selteer.com website and various products under the selteer.com domain. References to "Selteer", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Selteer.

2. What data we collect

It depends on the product:

  • Prifasi: No account required. No data collected. All vault data is encrypted locally on your device and synced only as opaque ciphertext. We have no means to associate vault data with an individual.
  • Account-based products (Nugas, Kesmu): We store an encrypted identity (e.g. username or email used as a key derivation input), and ciphertext blobs. We do not store plaintext content. We may store anonymized usage metrics to improve the product.
  • This website: We may log anonymized access data (e.g. page views, referrer) without personal identifiers. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics that profile individuals.

3. End-to-end encryption & zero knowledge

All user-generated content in Selteer products is encrypted client-side before transmission. Selteer servers store only ciphertext. Decryption keys are derived from your master password or device — they never leave your device unencrypted, and Selteer never has access to them.

This means that even if compelled by a legal order, or in the event of a server breach, Selteer is technically unable to provide plaintext access to your data.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes. We may use infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud hosting) who process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements — but those providers only receive ciphertext they cannot decrypt.

5. Data retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our servers. For products without accounts (e.g. Prifasi), no server-side data is associated with you.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because we store so little, and because account data is encrypted, these requests are typically fulfilled by deleting your account entirely. For questions, contact us at privacy@selteer.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through our products or this website.
